The heights of all fences, including the steeplechase, are that of the
training level specifications. The number of steeplechase fences will
be between two and four fences to be jumped in a pattern totaling eight efforts.
This was done at the October of 07 show and was well received by those who
competed. The steeplechase course was positioned on mature flat grounds
in close proximity of the main body of the competition, and everyone enjoyed
that it was very user friendly and highly visible, without a long walk.
Qualifications for Training Level Three-Day Test: Three clear cross country
rounds in past twelve months. Competitors who do not meet the minimum requirements
may write a waiver request to the competitions committee and submit along
with your entry. Entries having a waiver request will not be processed or
checks cashed unless entry is accepted.
*****After officials check in with us this spring, there might be adjustments.
These distances are as they were in October of 2007. Please remind
all that there is a horse trial (B/N/T) levels going on during the weekend,
as well. The vet checks are between phases and there is a competitor
briefing for participants on Friday after dressage.*****
